Product Description
With a cumulative record of 6.4 million items cleaned, we offer top-class domestic futon cleaning, carried out at the dedicated futon-cleaning factory of bedding professionals Maruhachi Mawata.
A large factory of over 10,000 square meters, with big equipment dedicated to futons for a thorough, gentle wash. We provide high-quality cleaning that minimizes stress on your futon.
Why not have your futons freshly cleaned from the comfort of home using our pickup-and-delivery service?
Features
1. Confident in the fluffiness of our down comforters.
We dry the down while loosening it in one of Japan's largest tumble dryers (1.2 m in diameter, 5 m deep). Although this large dryer can hold 40 comforters, we deliberately load only 12 so the comforters tumble freely and heat reaches every corner, giving a fluffy finish. This tumbling step is key! In a small dryer, the loft-restoring effect is weak, so the down doesn't open up well, clumps form, and insufficient drying can cause odors.
2. All courses include silver-ion antibacterial treatment, cleaning right down to the inner filling of the futon.
Using approximately 200-300 liters of water per futon, we spread the futon out flat with one of Japan's largest automatic pre-treatment machines - a giant belt-conveyor system about 20 m long - and let the detergent penetrate thoroughly to the inner filling. This lifts out the dirt for a clean wash. Silver-ion antibacterial treatment is a new technology drawing attention under the name 'Ag+.' When silver is applied to the futon's surface, it reacts with moisture during use to provide a lasting antibacterial effect. At Zabuzabu, we apply silver-ion antibacterial treatment to every futon. Drying slowly starting from a low temperature is the key! Drying all at once at high heat can damage or shrink the fabric and distort the shape.
3. Includes storage service in a dedicated warehouse (for 6 months).
*If the 'Storage Request After Futon Cleaning' form is not enclosed with the futon you send, it will not be stored. Customers who wish to use storage, please be sure to enclose it.
